Hello, I'm Angela - the artist behind Angela watts art. I began my journey as an artist during the lockdown phase when there was a scarcity of activities to occupy my time and engage my creative instincts. It was a unique moment that allowed me to explore my passion for art like never before.

As a kid, I had a keen fondness for colouring books, drawing and doodling. I vividly recall how I used to sketch clothes on the models featured in newspapers, to keep them warm, and it often made me giggle. Little did I know that these simple childhood antics were just the initial steps in honing my skills for what was to come in my adult life as an artist.

As I transitioned into adulthood, life presented various challenges that often hindered my ability to draw as freely as I wished. However, the enforced lockdown provided an unexpected outlet for my creativity, reshaping my perspective on life. It reinforced the importance of pursuing one’s passions and doing what genuinely brings joy. During this period, I made a pivotal decision to transform my love for art into a business, recognizing that it was a true passion that also provided a healthy escape from the tumultuous happenings in the world around me.

I am a completely self-taught artist, demonstrating that a formal art degree is not a prerequisite for creativity or talent. The drive to create art stems from deep within the soul, fueled by personal experiences and emotions. My artistic repertoire includes a wide variety of subjects, allowing me to offer exceptionally unique artwork, captivating art prints, and bespoke commissions tailored to individual needs.
