About me

Hello, I'm Angela - the artist behind Angela watts art. I started life as an artist during lockdown when there wasn't much else to do.

As a kid I used to love colouring books, drawing and doodling. I would draw clothes on the models in the newspapers as I didnt want them to be cold haha. Little did I know it was just practice for later as an adult.

As an adult, Life seemed to get in the way of my drawing until we had Lockdown which changed all that and I started to draw again. I realised I was better than I thought and people were blown away at how good my art was so I decided I wanted to do it as a business as it's something I really enjoy and it gets me out of my head with everything going on right now with the world. I'm also on a spiritual path to healing as I did indeed have a sudden and abrupt spiritual awakening in 2022 which wasn't pretty.

I'm a completely self taught artist proving you don't need an art degree to draw. It comes from the soul. I draw a wide variety of subjects such as animal portraits, people portraits and I may even diversify to landscapes. Who knows where It will take me.
